Arrow Video

I have started working with the mighty Arrow Video on a range of their releases. Details on each (as they are announced) are listed below.

The Last Stop in Yuma County

Directed by Francis Galluppi, The Last Stop in Yuma County tonally veers between being taut and intense and almost farcically humorous, and is one heck of a feature debut from Galluppi. For the Arrow Video Blu-ray release, I dug into the character of The Knife Salesman played by Jim Cummings.

Booger

For the release of Mary Dauterman’s Booger I have created my first video essay, delving into how lead character Anna deviates from the traditional film feline female.

Perpetrator

For the release of Jennifer Reeder’s Perpetrator I wrote about the onscreen relationship between teenage girls and blood within genre cinema.

Hellbender

I appear in the booklet for the US release of Hellbender directed by the Adam’s Family. My essay analysed the relationship character of Mother.

Huesera: The Bone Woman

I take over the entire booklet for Huesera: The Bone Woman to analyse the film’s portrayal of motherhood.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E

For the Arrow Video release of The Man From U.N.C.L.E I was interviewed about Guy Ritchie’s career for the video extra ‘Cockneys and Robbers.’
