Ghouls Magazine is an inclusive space where women and non-binary voices can voice their views on horror and genre cinema. The website is full of editorials, reviews and interviews covering all facets of the horror landscape. They also have a podcast. The content for the show is as varied as the site itself, with several strands running tandem to one another. The first is a monthly podcast tied to that months theme on the website – remakes, mothers, nature etc. another strand is a ‘what we’ve been watching’ episode wherein several Ghouls discuss what films, TV, books, games etc. they’ve been consuming.

Coming of Age
The theme for the website in April was ‘coming of age horror’. I joined host Zoë Rose Smith and other Ghouls contributors to discuss the films that formed both our journeys into horror and movies that accurately reflect the adolescent experience through the veil of genre cinema.
