Fantasia International Film Festival is a genre festival that takes place every summer in Canada. Usually the event happens during July, but the pandemic has meant that last year’s as well as this year’s, have been pushed back to August. This year the festival turns the landmark age of twenty-five! I’ve been covering Fantasia since 2016, and whilst I’ve never had the money to travel and attend in person, I’ve always had a blast delving into their films. To celebrate the twenty-fifth edition kicking off on Thursday 5th August, the next few days of posts will all be reviews of films that I first reviewed at a Fantasia.
